شقلاوة مدينة عراقية تابعة لمحافظة أربيل في إقليم كردستان العراق. يبلغ تعداد سكانها حوالي 25,500 نسمة، وتقع على بعد 51 كم شمال شرق أربيل، عند سفح جبل سفين. تقع شقلاوة بين جبل سفين وجبل سورك، وترتفع 1066م عن سطح البحر. تشتهر المدينة بشلالاتها وأشجارها ومساحاتها الخضراء. Shaqlawa is an Iraqi city located in the Erbil Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It has a population of approximately 25,500 people and is situated about 51 km northeast of Erbil, at the foothills of Mount Safeen. Shaqlawa lies between Mount Safeen and Mount Sork and is elevated about 1,066 meters above sea level. The city is well known for its waterfalls, trees, and green landscapes, making it one of the most popular summer tourist destinations in northern Iraq.
