كَرْبَلَاء مدينة عراقية ومركز محافظة كربلاء تقع في منطقة الفرات الأوسط . تعتبر أحد أهم المدن المُقدّسة لدى العراقيين وذلك لوجود ضريح الإمام الحسين بن علي وأخيه ابي الفضل العباس الذين استشهدوا معه في واقعة الطف . Karbala is an Iraqi city and the center of the Karbala Governorate, located in the Middle Euphrates region. It is considered one of the most sacred cities for Iraqis due to the presence of the shrine of Imam Hussein ibn Ali and his brother Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, who were martyred alongside him in the Battle of Karbala (the Event of al-Taff).
